Billy Duain Woods, 16, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 in Muskogee, Okla. Billy was born on July 26, 2000 in Siloam Springs, Ark., a son of Heath Brandon Woods and Samantha Shaye Mahler. Billy loved making music. He had a heart of gold, always comforting people and making them laugh. He enjoyed skateboarding, wearing nice clothes, TuTu's Beef Stew and Idalia's Spanish Rice. He is survived by his father, Heath Brandon Woods and wife Idalia of Rogers, Ark.; his mother, Samantha Mahler of Tahlequah, Okla.; brothers, Michael McKinnley of Siloam Springs, Evan and Lucas Woods of Rogers, Ark.; sisters, Isabella Mahler of Siloam Springs, Samantha and Diana Garcia of Rogers; grandparents, Connie Shappell of Colcord, Okla., Leasa Souza and husband Bruce of Honolulu, Hawaii and Mike Mahler of Oklahoma City, Okla.; great-grandparents, Rita Mae Reed of Siloam Springs, Billy Dale Woods of Hugo, Okla., Linda Brown of Siloam Springs, Preston Bynum and wife Ann of Orlando, Fla. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Gene Woods, great-grandfather Orville Dean Reed and great-great-grandparents, Homer and Roma Bynum Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Funeral service will held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel. Pastor Larry Ellis will officiate the service.
