Mr. Stanley "Slim" Elliott, 85, of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Gravette, Arkansas. Slim entered this life on June 1, 1931 in Vaughn, New Mexico born to the late, Stanley and Oakla (Cavasos) Elliott. He was a rancher and a tireless worker. Slim married the love of his life, Clarindia Secrest on September 28, 1963 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He loved his children and grandchildren and cherished time spent with them. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Clarindia on February 15. Slim is survived by three children, William Levi Elliott and wife, Audra of Jane, Missouri, LaVeta Key and husband, Scott of Gravette, Arkansas, Teresa Davis and husband, Ryan of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas; a sister, Wanda Kilgore and husband, Bill of Noel, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Derek Key, Travis Key, Tiffany Cope, Chance Key, Levi Elliott, Rebecca Davis and Emma Davis; three great-grandchildren, Connor, Caleb and Colton Key; a multitude of nieces and nephews who adored him; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Slim. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas with Reverend Jamey Cope officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. The family will receive friends at this time.
