Eileen "Sally" Haffner, age 86, of West Fork passed away Monday December 12 in Fayetteville. She was born July 29, 1930 in Yellville, Arkansas the daughter of Jethro and Dona (Owens) Erwin. She was preceded in death by both of her husband's Vonell Dickey and Paul Haffner, ten brothers and sisters and a grandson Jason Dickey. She loved quilting and gardening. She retired from Armstrong Tool and was a member of the Baldwin Baptist Church. She was the rock that held her family together and never met a person that didn't love her and told her how beautiful she was. She was fun, loving, made everyone laugh and feel loved. She was also the valedictorian of her graduating class. She is survived by her three daughters Betty McGee of Fayetteville, Vonda Cook of Fayetteville and Annette Benke and her husband Duke of West Fork; one son Roger Dickey and his wife Pam of Jasper, Arkansas; one brother J.D. Erwin and his wife Judy of Harrison; 11 grandchildren Natoshia House, Joshua Ralston, David Allen Cook, Michelle Deann Cook-Myers, Michael Scott McGee, Crystal McConnaughhay, Travis Larkin McGee, Matt Dickey, Greg Dickey, Lisa Dickey and Lora McCool; 24 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Thursday December 15 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville with interment to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
