James "Hondo" Lewis Holyfield, 54, of Siloam Springs, AR, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Siloam Springs. Hondo was born August 17, 1962 in Rogers, Ark.; he was the son of John R Holyfield and Victoria R. Friend Holyfield. He married Tracey Gail Hutchinson on January 16, 1993 in Springdale, Ark. Hondo worked for Kemp Quarries as a sourcing specialist, was a member of the Springdale Masonic Lodge and Key Masonic Lodge in Siloam Springs and was a member of the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale.. Hondo enjoyed motorcycling, the outdoors, hunting and anything to do with guns, he loved Grilling and Bar-B-Queing and loved spending time with his family especially his children. Hondo was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Hondo is survived by his wife, Tracey Holyfield of the home; children, Anna Lyssa Harmon of Seattle, Wash., Alexander Holyfield of Siloam Springs, Ark., Elijah Holyfield of Cherry Point, N.C.; his parents, John and Victoria Holyfield Springdale, Ark.; his sister, Dixie Springston of Springdale, Ark. Visitation for Hondo will be held at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale, Ark. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale, Ark. Pastor Clark Snow will officiate the service. Burial will be held at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Fayeteville, Ark. under the direction of Backstrom – Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
