Imogene Abshier

Imogene Abshier, 85, a resident of Morrow, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 29, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 16, 1930 in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of Marion Andy and Iva Mae Sharrock McCratic. Imogene was a faithful member of the Hale Mountain Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Abshier, one son, Jackie Abshier, one daughter-in-law, Donna Abshier and one brother, Don McCratic. Survivors include three sons, Rick Abshier of Farmington, Steve Abshier and his wife Joyce of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Terry Abshier and his wife Jill of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one daughter, Judy Denton and her husband Harry of Cane Hill, Arkansas; one sister, Margie Galloway of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
