Marvin D. Boatright

Marvin D. Boatright Jr., 90, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Fayetteville. He was born August 27, 1926 in Fayetteville, the son of Marvin and Eulah Baker Boatright Sr. Marvin was a member of Mount Comfort Church of Christ; an Electrical Engineer retiring from Aero Jet~General; and served in the United States Navy. He received as a graduate of the University of Arkansas an accommodation for being a pioneer in the Space Industry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Veta Boatright in June of this year. Survivors include his daughter, Debra Summers and husband, Rodney of Spencer, Ind.; his daughter-in-law, Ann Boatright of Fayetteville; one brother, Marion Ray Boatright of Sulfur Springs, Texas; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, August 29, 2016 from 5~7 p.m. at Moore's Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Moore's Chapel with burial in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
