Donnie L. Morgan

Donnie L. Morgan, 69, of Rogers passed away August 23, 2016 in Rogers. He was born December 29, 1946 in Jacket, Missouri the son of Dillard and Dorothy Evelyn Arnold Morgan. Donnie was a retired truckdriver for Stribling Packaging and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a Corporal in the Army during the Vietnam War. Donnie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his sense of humor would bring a smile to any one's face. He spent a majority of his time as a horse rider and trainer. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Dale Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hart Morgan of the home; children, Donna Morgan O'Neill (Eric) of Exeter, Missouri, Catherine Bright Garmon of Emory, Texas, Diane Wehmeyer (Stan) of Bentonville, Arkansas and Richard Bright (Jill) of Rogers, Arkansas; one brother, Gerald Dillard Morgan of Lowell, Arkansas, three sisters, Evelyn June Fletcher of Seligman, Missouri, Marjorie Irene Howell of Bentonville, Arkansas and Patricia Kay Dean of Garfield, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Nicholle O'Neill Forgey (Seth), Baillie Morgan O'Neill, Matthew Peacock (Shawnee), Steven Wehmeyer (Chris-Mari), Stephanie Wehmeyer and Lauren Bright; five great-grandchildren, Cash Forgey, Tucker and Tate Peacock, Matthew and Johnathan Wehmeyer. Graveside services with military honors 11na.m. Friday; August 26, 2016 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation; 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
