Danny J. Augustine

Danny Joseph Augustine, 75, of Fayetteville passed away on August 18, 2016. Dan was born December 24, 1940 in Logan, West Virginia to Coleman and Helen Barath Augustine. He was preceded in death by both parents, son Doug Augustine, granddaughter Rachel Welch, and brother Coleman Augustine Jr. Dan was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1961 to 1965 and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Post 10483 in Hot Springs, Ark., and a lifetime member of DAV. Dan was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Elkins. Dan is survived by his wife, Sharon Augustine of the home; daughter, Tracy Scheierman and her husband Ben of Prattville, Ala.; son, Jason Augustine of Portland, Ore.; Two stepdaughters, Rhonda Duncan and her husband Tim of Stella, Mo. and Shanna Kimball and her husband Jimmy of West Fork; Two stepsons, Jerry Welch and his wife Jill of Joplin, Mo. and Garrett Welch and his wife Lori of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren, Benjamin Scheierman, Joseph Scheierman, Matthew Scheierman, Whitney Duncan, Courtney Duncan, Hanna Duncan, Jessica Kimball, Sara Kimball, Ethan Kimball, Dillon Welch, Eric Welch, Ryan Welch, Alicia Welch, and Braedon Welch; One brother, Bill Augustine and his wife Betty of Greentown, Ind.; and many other family, friends, and loved ones.
