On August 18, 2016 Anne-Marie Woods Overstreet continued her life's journey by stepping into eternity. An eternity where pain and suffering no longer exist. She fought the cancer that ultimately took her life with unparalleled strength and true courage. Her life was full. She loved and was loved. She enjoyed family and selflessly gave love and support to all of her immediate and extended family members. Music was her passion and her God-given ability to sing and play were sources of true joy and inspiration. Anne-Marie's life brimmed with fun and laughter. She was surrounded by the family she loved and shared so richly with as this life ended. It's with heavy hearts that we let her go much too soon. We take comfort, however, in the memories, the love and knowing that this faithful woman is again singing and laughing. Anne-Marie (September 24, 1970-August 18, 2016, aged 45 years) is survived by her husband, Jeff Overstreet and daughters, Riley and Baylee Overstreet, all of Rogers, Ark.; father, George A. Woods of Bedford, Va.; brothers, Hal and Gary Tibbs of Waynesboro, Va.; sister, Chris Smith of Howardsville, Va.; sister, Teresa Eager of Nags Head, N.C. and a host of nieces, nephews and in-laws. She is preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Woods, and her grandparents, Mable and George Woods and Jake and Florence Moyer. A celebration of Anne-Marie's life will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Rogers, located on Pleasant Grove Road.
