Jackie Lee "Jack" Bailey

Jackie Lee "Jack" Bailey, 86, of Bentonville, Arkansas died, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Bentonville. He was born March 17, 1930 in Brownwood, Texas. He served 25 years in the United States Air Force, retiring with the grade of Major. During this period he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Gold Star, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Silver Star, eleven Air Medals for his combat missions and numerous lesser awards including Honorary Wings of the Vietnamese Air Force. Jack is survived by his wife, Ada, of the home; one daughter, Jackie Easterwood and husband, Mike of Sperry, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, David and Kristen and one sister, Josephine Keith of Bella Vista, Ark. Funeral services will be at 12 noon, Friday, August 19, 2016 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark. with full military honors provided by the Little Rock Air Force Base Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association or to the Shriners Children's Hospital. Arrangements are by Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
