Benjamin Tillman

Benjamin "Ben" Franklin Tillman, 76, of Pea Ridge, died August 14, 2016 at Bradford Nursing and Rehab in Bentonville. He was born July 31, 1940 in Benton County to Sherman Edward Tillman and Mary Elizabeth Rosetta Lane Tillman. Ben loved watching Nascar races, fishing and traveling. He loved sports and was a little league coach in Pea Ridge. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 46 years, Peggy Tillman; four brothers, Leon, Jack, Bud and Albert Tillman; two sisters, Georgia Bonita Tillman and Mary Alice Tillman. Survivors are a son, Gary Tillman (Bonnie) of Pea Ridge; two daughters, Patricia Overman of Missouri and Andrea Crane (Jeremy) of Oklahoma; two brothers, Harley Tillman of Pineville, Mo. and John Tillman of Goodman, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jennifer Wright of Pea Ridge, Joshua and Clark Kern of Missouri, Ashley Griffith of Oklahoma, KC Cross of Fayetteville; one great-grandchild, Olivia of Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Thursday, August 18 at Bayless Cemetery in Garfield. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
