Allen "Wayne" Murphy

Allen "Wayne" Murphy, 63 of Springdale passed away Aug. 7, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 12, 1952 in Tahlequah, Okla., to Richard Lee and Dorothy Hilton Murphy. Wayne was a Truck Driver Instructor at Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale.. He enjoyed golfing and ham radio with his callsign being KK5FU. He enjoyed taking fishing trips with his children. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Murphy. Survivors include his wife, Alice Murphy of the home; one son, Preston Murphy of Bath, Pa.; two daughters, Marla Murphy of Locust Grove, Okla., and Teresa Weathers and husband Troy of Bella Vista; three brothers, Richard Murphy of Vian, Okla., Lloyd Murphy of Wichita, Kan., and Kenneth Murphy of Vian, Okla.; one sister, Mildred Hay of Scottsdale, Ariz., and nine grandchildren.
