Eugene Edward Alberts

Eugene Edward Alberts, 81, of Rogers passed away April 26, 2016 in Rogers. He was born November 24, 1934 in Melvin, Iowa the son of Dick and Phoebe Graves Alberts. Eugene was a Greeter for Wal-Mart in Rogers and a former truckdriver. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and served in the United States Army from 1953-1956. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings. He is survived by his wife, Donna Alberts of the home, children, Linda Brooks of Richmond, Texas, Randy Alberts of the Philippines, Brad Alberts of Clemons, North Carolina, Matt Alberts of Madison, North Carolina, Betty Young and Calvin Blackwell both of Rogers and Susan Blackwell of Carrolton, Missouri; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services 12 noon Friday, April 29, 2016 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
