Sallee Golden "Golden" Burkett

Sallee Golden "Golden" Burkett, 91, of Neosho and longtime resident of Northwest Arkansas passed away April 24 in Anderson. He was born June 29, 1924 the only child of the late Willis Thomas Burkett and Emma Matilda White Burkett near Alma, Arkansas. He enjoyed reading the Bible and attending church. For nearly 41 years, he was the loving husband of Blendene Burkett who survives. Other survivors include two sisters-in-law, Leona Hampton of Fayetteville and Christene Soloman of Neosho; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Mays (Frances) of Kansas; caregiver, Judy McGinnis and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Funeral services will be at 12 noon today, Wednesday, April 27 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with interment to follow in Tuck's Chapel Cemetery.
