Harold Joseph "Joe" Stark, age 89, of Bella Vista, died April 20, 2016, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born in Morganton, Ark., on April 10, 1927, a son of the late Jake and Thelma (Neal) Stark. Joe served his country in the US Army during World War II in the 7th Cavalry Regiment stationed at a supply depot in Japan. He was a master Mason, his last membership being in the Pottsville Lodge #333. He was a retired master carpenter, rancher, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cave Springs. Survivors include his children, Iris Wilson and husband Dale of Centerton, Rodney Stark of Pineville, Mo.; brother, Herbert Stark of North Little Rock; sister, Iris June McClellan of Little Rock; grandchildren, Monica, Danny and John Dees, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Melvin Stark; brothers J.D. and Ray Stark; and a sister, Ruth McDaniel. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. on Mon., April 25, 2016, with services beginning at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Cave Springs. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd., Springdale, 72762. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
