Burles Jarvis "BJ" Norman Jr.

Burles Jarvis "BJ" Norman Jr., 80, passed away in Fayetteville on April 19, 2016. He was born July 29, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to Burles and Edna Yerby Norman. B.J. was a Army veteran serving in the Korean war. He graduated from The Mayo Clinic as a CRNA. He loved watching birds and being outdoors. He was a member of The Ozark Flyers and loved putting together model airplanes. B.J. loved his dogs, Rudy and Andy. In 2008 he became a faithful member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Carolyn Norman, of the home, to whom he was married to for 54 years. One daughter; Lisa Norman of Fayetteville, and numerous family and friends who loved him dearly. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 22 at the Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville with Pastor Steve Sheely officiating.
