JoAnn McDougal, 80, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died April 15, 2016 at her home. Born Feb. 7, 1936 in Japton, Ark., she was the daughter of Arnold Rogers and Mary (Lewis) Rogers. JoAnn and Junior McDougal were married May 31, 1951. She was a professional piano player and played for many groups in the area, including the Samaritan's Quartet. JoAnn loved her early life playing with different bands and playing country clubs and dinner music. She loved her home and her family. JoAnn loved the spring and especially her beautiful yard. But her passion was jewelry; she loved ordering from the shopping channels and receiving packages in the mail. JoAnn was a member of First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Roger; and sister, Brooksie Fitzgerald. Survivors include her husband, Junior of the home; brother, Michael Rogers of Houston, Texas; son, Dr. Richard McDougal and wife, Linda of Clarksville, Ark.; daughter, Renee Burns and husband, Barry of Siloam Springs, Ark.; grandchildren: Emma White and husband, Brad; Whitney Lipsmeyer and wife, Christina; Albert McDougal and wife, Belinda; Coleson Burns and wife, Jennifer; Abbi Armstrong and husband, Rob; Austin McDougal, Andrew McDougal, Paige McDougal, Cara McDougal; Jesse Lipsmeyer and Liza Holt; great-grandchildren: Emory White, Brooks White, Hudson White, Elleigh White, Lucy McDougal, Oliver McDougal, Hannah Booth, Brayden Lipsmeyer, Collin Taheri, Amani Williams, Kenyon Holt, Cheryl Goodson, Zachary Nall and Jonathan Nall; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Ark.
