Billie Eugene Copelin

Billie Eugene Copelin, 79, of Springdale, Ark., died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at home of natural causes. He was born April 27, 1936 in Latimer County, Okla. to Elias Elmo and Etta Ellen Keeling Copelin. He was the youngest of eight children. Billie was married to Jean Copelin from 1955 to 1980 and to Norma Copelin from 1994 to 2014. Upon high school graduation, Bill entered the Air Force. A short while after his discharge, he became a lifelong resident of NW Arkansas. Billie was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on his farm and being around his family. He is survived by three children: Kelly Copelin of Gravette, Ark., Bill Copelin of Fayetteville, and Betty Hartlerode of Elkins; and a host of grand and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services, 2898 W. Walnut, Rogers, AR 72756. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at The Gardens of Arkanshire, 5000 Arkanshire Circle, Springdale, AR 72764. Private burial will be at Martin Cemetery.
