Debra Lee Taylor, 61, of Rogers, passed from this life on April 9, 2016 at the Circle of Life in Bentonville. She was born March 1, 1955 in Rogers to Derriel and Doris Briley. She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Ruthie Briley. Debbie graduated from Rogers High School in 1973. She began her career as a floral designer at George's Flowers in 1976 and finished her 40-year career at Shirley's Flowers in Rogers. She loved her work (except at Valentine's), but most of all she loved her coworkers. Many of her most cherished friends were current or former colleagues. Debbie was generous and deeply compassionate and taught her children to be as well. She will be remembered for her big heart, her love of dictionaries, her famous sweet tea, and her unwavering commitment to recycling. She loved to laugh and never missed a chance to sneak sweets to her grandkids. She had a heart for animals and rescued many over the years including her dog, Millie and her cat, Daddy-O. Left to cherish her memory are her mother; her son, Jared Taylor and his wife, Kendra, of Bentonville; her daughter, Whitney Ducker and her husband, Adam, of Rogers; her siblings, Sara Briley, Tim Briley, and David Briley; and her grandchildren, Ana, Cobe, Dakota, Katelynn and Bay. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2016 at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers. Please share your fond thoughts and memories of Debbie on her memorial at www.WestfieldChapel.com.
