Lonnie Ray Watkins

Lonnie Ray Watkins, 70, of Greenland, Ark., died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born March 27, 1946 in Brentwood, Ark. to Millard and Delma Samples Watkins. He graduated from Greenland High School and attended Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church now Genesis church for over 50 years. He was a life-long farmer. He leaves behind so many cherished memories with his wife of over 51 years, Patricia L. Williams, whom he married on Aug. 14, 1964; daughters, Sherry Anderson and her husband, Patrick of West Fork and Kerry Bradley and her husband, Chris of Springdale; grandchildren: Austin, Peyton and Alexandria Anderson and Lola, Leo, Lex and Linc Bradley were some of his greatest blessings; he is also survived by his brother, Everett Watkins of Fayetteville and his sister, Barbara Ramey and her husband, Marion of West Fork. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Beard's Funeral Chapel, 855 S. Happy Hollow Road, Fayetteville, Ark. from 5-7 p.m., and funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 10 a.m. also at Beard's Funeral Chapel.
