Paul Jackson Byers

Paul "Jack" Jackson Byers, 76 year old resident of Gentry, Arkansas, died September 27, 2015 at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Born January 21, 1939 in the Bethlehem Community in Northwest Arkansas, he was the son of Olen Byers and Esta (Gholson) Byers. Jack married Linda Carol Webb and was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Centerton, Arkansas. He worked as a laborer at Tyson Foods for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda ; his parents, Olen and Esta Byers; one brother, Glen Byers; and one sister, Larue Foster. He is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Brown of Tulsa, Oklahoma and her husband James of Rogers, Arkansas and Effie Byers of Gentry; three grandchildren, Courdaro Brown of Centerton, Derrick Brown of Centerton, and Quintin Brown of Kansas; his siblings, Clara Lawson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Johnnie Byers and wife Patricia of Bullhead, Arizona, Veva Ann Saville of Purdy, Missouri, Powell Byers of Bentonville, Arkansas, Lavon Hauser and husband Don of Palm Springs, California, Roy Byers and wife Betty of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Sue Ellen Lee and husband Tommy of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services are planned for 10 a.m., Friday, October 2, 2015 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Centerton, Arkansas.
