Funeral Services for Zane Franklin Rodgers II will be held on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Reed Culver Chapel. Interment will follow at Molly Fields Cemetery in Tahlequah, Okla. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Reed Culver Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.reedculver.com. Pallbearers for Zane include Travis Rodgers, Clint Rodgers, Wayne Herbert, Kurt Sij, Jerry King, Jason Williams and Scott Stewart. Honorary pallbearers include brother-in-law, Marvin Allen. Zane Franklin Rodgers II was born on Feb. 12, 1969 in Tulsa, Okla. Zane met and married the love of his life, Brandi Rodgers on Oct. 25, 2014. He had the privilege of raising four children, Clint, Travis, Justin, and Ashley. Zane was an outdoorsman by heart. He especially enjoyed time out in the woods hunting or a good fishing trip with family or friends. Through his love for nature, he became an avid supporter of the Oklahoma Scenic Rivers Commission and spent many afternoons floating the Illinois River. Zane was one of those creative people who could build anything he put his hands to and was a talented singer and guitarist. He was dedicated to his family and job, compassionate to everyone around him and the most loving person anyone could meet. Zane never met a stranger. On Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 in Fayetteville, Ark., Zane passed from this life at the age of 46 years old. His love for life and for those around him will be cherished forever. Zane is preceded in death by his father, Zane Franklin Rodgers Sr.; one son, Justin Rodgers and one great-nephew, Lane Summers. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brandi Rodgers of the home; one daughter, Ashley Rodgers of Kansas, Okla.; two sons, Clint Rodgers of Woodward, Okla. and Tiffany Green of Sulfur, Okla. and Travis Rodgers and wife Michelle Thurman of Tahlequah, Okla.; three sisters, Crystal Morgan of Tahlequah, Okla., Deboraugh Allen and husband Marvin of Tahlequah, Okla. and Shelly Rodgers Hooper and husband John of Nashville, Tenn.; one sister-in-law, Lori Sij and husband Kurt of Springdale, Ark. and one brother-in-law, Robbie Olson and wife Allison of Bidville, Ark. His legacy lives on through his five cherished grandchildren, Kylah Rodgers, Avery Rodgers, Audrey Rodgers, Ashton Thurman and Tyler Thurman as well as a host of friends and loved ones.
