Kathryn S. Englehart

Kathryn S. Englehart passed away September 12, 2015. She was born March 22, 1926 in Muskogee, Okla. to the late Homer D. Shryack and Blanche Withers Shryack. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Kathryn and her late husband Dale Englehart owned Englehart Insurance Servies Inc. She was a past member of Sparks Guild, Sparks Women's Guild, a lifetime PTA member, St Edward Auxiliary and the Junior Civic League. She loved to volunteer when asked and was always ready to help anyone in need of anything. In the eyes of her children and grandchildren she was the best Grannie anyone could ever have. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale A. Englehart in 2003. Kathryn is survived by her two daughters, Judy Englehart of Fort Smith and Jan Cooper and her husband Bob Cooper Sr. of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Kati and her husband Ryan Davis of Lake Wiley, South Carolina, Bob Cooper Jr. and his wife Caroline of Fort Smith, and Emily and her husband Jeff Reh, of Tulsa, Okla.; and three great-grandchildren, Hunter and Riley Davis, and Stella Jane Cooper. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in Roebuck Chapel at First United Methodist Church, 200 North 15th Street, Fort Smith, Ark. Private burial be at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ryan Davis, Jeff Reh, Burton Weis, Ray Burd, Rick Taylor, Neal Pendergraft, and Howard Vernon. Following the Memorial Service there will be a celebration of life held at Donald W.
