Barbara Walker Woody

Barbara Walker Woody, 60, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas passed away Friday September 4, 2015 at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. She was born March 16, 1955 in Fayetteville, the daughter of Russell and Betty Ruth Walker. She enjoyed her years working at JC Penney, Asbell Elementary School and most recently at UAMS as the Education Programs Coordinator. Barbara was a part of the Farmington Baptist Church Praise Team and a member of the Bethel Grove Extension Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband Clay Woody; two sons, Jeremy Woody and wife Adrienne and Andrew Woody and wife Kara all of Farmington; one daughter, Kara Lewis and husband Shelby also of Farmington; her mother, Betty Ruth Walker of Farmington; two brothers, Larry Walker and wife BeAnn of Prairie Grove and Don Walker and wife Sheroll of Fayetteville; one sister, Candes Wilson and husband Jim of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Jonah, Jude and Ava Jane Woody, Cooper Woody and Oliver Lewis. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015, 10 a.m. at Farmington Baptist Church with burial in the Farmington Cemetery.
