Eva Lou Phillips, age 92, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Elkins, Arkansas, and Gober, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior and the love of her life, Floyd, on September 3, 2015, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born March 23, 1923, in Vernon, Texas, the daughter of David and Claudia Henry Low. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gober, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd F. Phillips, to whom she was married to for 70 years, and one great grandson, William Colton Tyler Warford. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who opened her home to family and neighbors. She was a homemaker and loved cooking and making her famous cinnamon rolls. Her favorite past times were playing dominoes and Farkle and she had the uncanning ability to win every time. The grandchildren have many fond memories of spending time with grandma and grandpa. She is survived by her one son: Leslie Ray Phillips and his wife Gigi, of Roxton, Texas; one daughter: Janet Elaine Phillips Reed, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two nephews: Don C. Phillips and Johnny J. Phillips who she raised; five grandchildren: Bettina Logue, Dustin Brt, Tamera Phillips, Debra Phillips and John Phillips; twelve great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation will be Saturday, September 5, 2015, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, in Springdale. Graveside services will be Tuesday September 8, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Mount Olive Memorial Park Cemetery in Big Spring, Texas, under the direction of Nalley Pickle Welch Funeral Home.
