Roy Lee Foreman

Roy Lee Foreman, 86, of Decatur, Arkansas, died August 31, 2015, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born September 24, 1928, at Nettleton, Arkansas, he was the son of Lawrence Lee and Mildred Elizabeth (Harris) Foreman. Roy and Frances Spence were married in 1951, at Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was a retired high school teacher and also worked for Peterson Industries after retiring. Roy served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ronald, and daughter Linda. Survivors include his wife Frances of the home; son Danny Foreman and wife LaVonn of Decatur, Arkansas; daughter Judy Foreman of Decatur, Arkansas; two grandchildren Leagha Smith and husband Bryan of Decatur, Arkansas and Tessa Kelsheimer and husband Joe of Gravette, Arkansas; two great-grandchildren Logan and Cody; step-grandchildren Teresa Hill, Cindy Manuad, Allen Beck and Darrell Beck; former daughter-in-law Delia Ates; sister Marjorie Armstrong of Jonesboro, Arkansas and brother Gerald Foreman of Bono, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Arkansas.
