Shirley L. Hill

Shirley L. Hill, a resident of Fayetteville, Ark. passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at her home, at the age of 79. She was born to O.F. and Bessie Spivey Strawn in San Angelo, Texas. on February 22, 1936. Shirley was retired from Walmart and was a housewife. She was a people person who never met a stranger. She especially loved children. Shirley was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings; and one son, Gary L. Hill. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tom Hill; daughter, Sherry A. Key and husband, Claude; four grandchildren, Kristen and Josh Davis, Gary and Jill Hill, Casey and Jim Neill and Cass and Ashley Key; seven great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Beard's Chapel with Brother Al Gebauer officiating. Interment will be in the Dowell Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tuddy Gregg, Jim Vaught, Leroy Nunn, Eddie Finney, Josh Petree and Jim Justus.
