John R McMonigal

John R. McMonigal, of Bentonville passed away on October 27, 2015. John was born January 13, 1923 to Arthur and Nina McMonigal who preceded him in death. He graduated from Prairie Du Chein High School and NYA of La Crosse, Wis. He married Adeline Mantel April 3, 1947. They traveled extensively in the United States and had friends everywhere. She preceded him in death on December 12, 2004. John was a decorated World War II veteran. He landed on Omaha Beach in Normandy France and the Battle of the Bulge to the end of the war in Germany. He was an avid archery hunter and received numerous awards. He and Adeline will interred in Brookfield Park, Wis. John requested that no service be held.
