Archie E Shroyer (Jr.), 83, of Bella Vista, AR died Friday, October 23rd, 2015. He was born on January 11, 1932, to the late Archie E Shroyer Sr., and Blanche Sullivan in Anthony, Kansas. He was a graduate of Hazelton High School, KS and completed his Education with a Masters Degree from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kan. Archie is also a decorated Korean War Veteran with the United States Air Force. An accomplished school teacher, Corporate Executive (Deluxe Check Printers, The R3 Group), and Business Owner, Archie has been retired since 2002. He is survived by his best friend, companion, and wife of 63 Years, Jean Shroyer (maiden name Norma Jean Kliewer). Married in Hutchinson, Kansas, Their life and times is a story of love, commitment, and endurance for all of their years. Archie is survived by his brother, Gary of Sterling, Kansas, son, Thomas of Bella Vista, grandchildren, Katy and Jill, Timothy and Carrie, and his great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends. Preceding Archie in death are two beloved children, daughter, Pamela Joy, son, Timothy Craig, and sister, Patricia, brother, Ron, as well as numerous other relatives, friends. While a great loss for those who knew him here on earth, wishing he was still here to offer reassuring hugs, comforting support, positive reinforcement, all who knew him understand he is in now in his 'Best Place'. Active church member throughout his life, he has been an integral part of the Bella Vista Christian Church for over a decade, as well as previous involvement with the First Mennonite Church in Wichita, KS as well as others. Memorial Services are being held at the Bella Vista Christian Church, 103 Riordan Road, Bella Vista, Arkansas this Friday October 30th, at 1 p.m. in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Bella Vista Christian Church to be distributed to Arch's favorite missionary funds, and church charities.
