Rose Carender

Rose Carender, 94, of Tontitown, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 at her home. She was born March 17, 1921 in Lutie, Okla. to Aristide and Benedetta Taldo Sabatini. Rose was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. She also worked for Tyson Foods for many years. Rose was a Riveter, assembling B-17's during World War II. Survivors include one son, Dale Joseph Carender and wife, Mary Ann of Tontitown; one daughter, Patricia Ann Walker and husband, Jerry of Springdale; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A rosary will take place at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday at the church beginning at 6pm. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
