Donald Jay Brotherton

Donald Jay Brotherton, age 81, of Winslow, died Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born February 26, 1934 in Fulton, Missouri, the son of Jay Christopher and Mable Christine Jasper Brotherton. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a retired mechanic for the Campbell Soup Company. He is survived by his wife, Velda Brotherton; two daughters, Jeri Henson and her husband Farrel and Chrissy Allen and her husband Brian, all of Winslow; a son, Chris Brotherton of Laughlin, Nevada; three sisters, Nita Jasper of Little Rock, Ramona Richcreek of Wichita, Kansas and Joyce Stone of Winslow; a brother, J.D. Brotherton of Springdale, three grandchildren, Daniel Henson, Ben Brotherton and Amanda Miller; two great-grandchildren, Aidan Oakley and Jace Williams and numerous nieces and nephews.
