Arthur Edmond Galchutt

Arthur Edmond Galchutt, 90 of Bella Vista, Ark. died on October 15, 2015. He was born in Minneapolis, Minn. on October 24, 1924 to Walter & Hilda Galchutt. He moved to Bella Vista from Lakeville, Minn. 28 years ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, Church Choir, Life member of the V.F.W. and past Commander, American Legion, Director of the Bella Vista Cemetery Board and Tanyard Creek Nature Trail Volunteer. He is survived by two sons, Mark Thomas and his wife of Clemmons, N.C., David Brian and his wife of Maplewood, Minn.; one daughter, Jan Carol Bernstorf and her husband of Rochester, Minn.., one brother, Ralph Galchutt of Suncity, Ariz.; two sisters, Donna Thompson of Richfield, Minn., Barbara Wandrei of Savage, MN; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista at 1 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2015, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd. Bella Vista, Arkansas. Rev. Dennis Ritchie and Rev. Liz Wagner will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, Music Department or a charity of the donor's choice. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota at a later date.
