Charlie Luther McNelly

Charlie Luther McNelly, 75, of Bentonville passed away Friday, October 16. He was born August 21, 1940 in Bentonville to the late Edmond C. "E.C." and Gertrude Alberta McNelly. Following graduation, he proudly served in U.S. Naval intelligence during the Cuban Missile crisis and in Turkey before becoming a lifelong career as a union electrician. He loved old cars… especially from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Not just owning and driving them, but the buying, selling, wheeling and dealing. Survivors include his soul-mate, Teresa Bozeman; his daughters, Marsha Kelly (Mickey) Mace of Centerton and Shannon (David) Fritsche of Booneville; his son, Jason (Margie) McNelly of Bella Vista; a sister, Pat (Jim) Mason of Siloam Springs; his grandchildren, Tanner and Chandler Fritsche and Zac, Kyle and Charlie Caspermeyer along with four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and share memories tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. in the stateroom of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Private urn burial will be at later date.
