Nola Sue Sikes

Nola Sue Sikes, 68 year old resident of Gentry, Arkansas, died October 11, 2015 at her home. Born October 9, 1947 in LaRue, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Harold Capps and Nola Nadene (Knox) Capps. She graduated from Gentry High School in 1966. Sue married Tommy Sikes on March 11, 1967 in Decatur, Arkansas. She retired from Gates Rubber Company after 32 years of service. Sue also worked on their farm with her husband, Tommy. She was a faithful member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Gentry. Sue was a wonderful wife, mom, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Capps and her mother, Nola Nadene Capps. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Sikes of the home; two sons, Rusty Sikes and wife Carla, and Dusty Sikes and wife Shelly, all of Gentry; one daughter, Brook Dilbeck and husband Paul of Gentry; two brothers, Ricky Capps and wife JoAnn of Gentry, and Micky Capps and wife Reba of Colcord, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Victory Missionary Baptist Church, Gentry, Arkansas, with Pastor Dennis Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Bozarth Cemetery, Gentry, Arkansas. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
