Rawleigh Cecil Hayes, 95, of Conway Passed from this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. He was born March 5, 1920 in Boles, Arkansas to George W. and Lydia B. Hayes. Mr. Hayes served his country in the United States Army during World War II, earning a purple heart for his service. He worked as a carpenter and electrician. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Hazel J. Hayes of Conway, daughters Dorinda Lendennie (John) of Vilonia, Onedia Sylvest (Matthew) of Fayetteville, son Martin Hayes of Conway, granddaughters Amanda Birmingham (Kenneth) Lydia Beyoud (Kawn), Alicia Cantrell (Jeffrey) and seven great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Parks Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hawkins Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
