Eva Graves

Eva Graves, 85, of Springdale passed away at her home on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015. Eva was born on Aug. 22, 1930 in Springdale, a daughter of Robert Lee Bowers and Ida Catherine Tabor Bowers. She married George Graves on April 5, 1947 in Huntsville, Ark. She was a homemaker who loved sewing, quilting, cooking, baking and traveling with her sister. She was a member of the Revival Tabernacle in Springdale. She is survived by her sister, Geneva Patterson of Springdale: a brother in law, Odell Graves of Springdale; her daughter-in-law, Paulette Graves of Springdale; four grandchildren, Terry Graves and wife Tara of Prairie Grove, Shelly Rankin and husband Philip of Prairie Grove, Travis Graves and wife Summer of Springdale, and Robin Boatright and husband Scott of Springdale; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Graves; her parents, Robert and Ida Bowers; one son, Bobby Lee Graves; brothers, Clifford and Lloyd Bowers and one sister, Beatrice Thomas. Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 at 1 p.m. Rev. Paul Eden and Brad Graves will officiate the service. Burial will be held at the Wilson Cemetery under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
