James "Jimmy" Charles Beckham, 70, of Garfield, died November 25 in Pea Ridge after a long battle with severe Aplastic Anemia. He was born November 13, 1945 in Compton, Calif. to Marion Beckham and Mildred Aston Beckham. Jim moved with his parents to Oklahoma when he was six years old and lived there until he moved to Arkansas. Jim was loved by so many people and will be missed terribly. He lived life to the fullest every day and always had a smile on his face. Jim was an avid motorcycle rider of dirt bikes and street bikes. He raced in the Blackjack Enduro Circuit winning the overall of 5 states one year. He was also a member of the Razorback Riders Club in White Rock, Ark. Jim retired from the Local 64 Union in Tulsa, Okla. as a commercial insulator. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife Mary of the home; a daughter, Dawan Undernehr and husband Johnny of Pea Ridge; four sons, Tim Vinson and wife Gina of Collinsville, Okla., Michael Beckham and wife Vicki, of Skiatook, Okla., Dustin Beckham of Grand Lake, Okla., Rocky Beckham of Texas; eight grandchildren, Mason, Cade, Kimberly, Caleb, Braden, Kelby, Briley, Aaron and his wife Savanna; three great-grandchildren, Sean, Kylah and Grayson. Service is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, November 29 at Grace Harbor Church in Rogers with Brother Stan Webb officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday. Local arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. A second service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 1 at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Sumrall, Mississippi with visitation starting at 1 p.m. before service. Burial will be in Military Church cemetery in Sumrall, Mississippi. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
