Nadine Francis Caughman

Nadine Francis Caughman, 91 longtime resident of Siloam Springs, Ark. passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows in Springdale, Ark. Nadine was born March 9, 1924 in Haskell, Okla.; she was the daughter of Lester and Elsie Ledford. Mrs. Caughman was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends. Survivors Include: son, Ken Caughman Tahlequah, Okla.; daughter, Anita Scism Fayetteville, Ark.; grandchildren, Jenny Sachs, Abby Lamons, Emery Scism, Amber Wood, Ben Scism and Mary Baumberger; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Arzela Fletcher Colcord, Okla.Nadine is also survived by many friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Reece Caughman, son Kevin Caughman and a sister Reba Hawkins. No visitation is scheduled at this time. Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. Dr. Steve Abbott will officiate the service. A private burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Backstrom–Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs or Circle of Life Hospice.
