Glenn Arthur Vaughn

Glenn Arthur Vaughn, age 80, of Spiro, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015. He was born August 7, 1935 in Huntsville, Arkansas to Elmer and Cora Carlock Vaughn. As a young man, he attended Bible College in Oklahoma and served as a minister for several years. Glenn was also an entrepreneur in several businesses and was the retired owner of Tree House Nursery of Spiro, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. He is survived by his wife, Jeanine Vaughn of Spiro, Oklahoma; her son, Jeffery Purlee and wife Tresia of Cave Junction, Oregon; a son, Glenn Richard Vaughn of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three daughters, Cheryl Carruth and husband David of Clarendon, Arkansas; Phyllis Roberts and husband Richard of Springdale, Arkansas and Deborah Vaughn of Springdale, Arkansas; a sister, Cloetta Hudson of Rogers, Arkansas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held 9 a.m.–12 p.m., noon, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Visitation will be 10 a.m., Monday, November 23, 2015 followed by a funeral service at 11: a.m. at Moore's Chapel. Burial will be in Baptist Ford Cemetery, Greenland, Arkansas.
