Rick L. Lynch

Rick L. Lynch, 71, of Blue Springs, Mo. passed away at KU Hospital at 5:30 p.m. Nov 12, 2015. Rick is predeceased by his mother, Dessie Branscomb, and his son Jim Lynch. He is survived by his loving wife, Joy Lynch of 48 years, his daughters, Michele McCaffrey, Jody Arebalo and Jami Lynch; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Rick was born in Middlesboro, KY. He owned and operated R&J Coffee Shop in Bentonville, Ark. for 30 years. Rick served in the Marines, was a Real Estate Broker, and volunteered at Blue Springs Police Department. Rick has generously elected to donate his body to KU for research.
