Edward "Ed" Buckley Brown, Jr.

Edward "Ed" Buckley Brown, Jr. passed away November 2, 2015 in Bella Vista, Arkansas. He was born August 29, 1946 to Ed and Louise Brown in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Southside High School, Memphis, Tennessee in 1964. He attended Northwest Mississippi Junior College and completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the University of Memphis. He taught in the Memphis and Shelby County Schools and was Director of Student Services at State Technical Institute (now Southwest Tennessee Community College) in Memphis, Tennessee. Before relocating to Arkansas, he and his family belonged to Collierville Bible Church, Collierville, Tennessee. He and his wife, Christe Ford Brown, relocated to Bella Vista in 2005. He leaves his wife of more than 47 years, Christe Ford Brown; his daughter, Elaine Brown Crutchfield and her husband J. David Crutchfield; his daughter, Jenny Brown; and three grandchildren, Megan, Molly and Eli Crutchfield all of Bella Vista. He is predeceased by his father, Edward B. Brown Sr.; and leaves his mother, Louise Lassiter Brown of Collierville, Tennessee; as well as two sisters, Dena Brown Marshall and her husband, Charles Marshall of Bartlett, Tennessee; and Mary Nell Brown Murphy and her husband, Luther Murphy of Collierville, Tennessee and two nephews, two nieces and their families. He dedicated his life to God, his family and teaching. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5:30-6:30pm with Funeral Service to follow in the Lodge of Fellowship Bible Church, 1051 W. Pleasant Grove Road in Rogers, the family's home church. Interment will be at a later date.
