Ramona Ann Henderson Sills

Ramona Ann Henderson Sills, age 83, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 in Fayetteville. Ramona was born Feb. 23, 1932 in Henryetta, Okla., the daughter of Samuel Jackson and Stella Elizabeth Copeland Henderson. She attended school in Henryetta and graduated from Henryetta High School. Ramona married Oren A. Sills Jr. in August 1953 in Henryetta. Together they raised two children, and enjoyed 38 years of marriage. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and a long time member of the Asbury Sunday School class. Ramona is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Carl, sister Shelma Shaw and brothers-in-law. Ramona is survived by her children, Pam Chambers and her husband David of Houston, Texas and Mark Sills of Fayetteville, Ark.; three grandchildren, Christopher Chambers of Houston, Texas, Mark Albert (Buddy) Sills and Joseph Sills of Fayetteville; one sister, Patricia Henderson of Tulsa, Okla.; two great-grandchildren Jaden and Kyler Sills and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held 5 p.m.–7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Ark., under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
