Edward "Cowboy" Arthur Daggett

Edward "Cowboy" Arthur Daggett, 69, pastel artist, storyteller, writer, gardener, small businessman rode off on Oct. 3, 2015. He was born in Ottawa, Ill. Aug. 19, 1946. His parents, Arthur and Ellen Daggett, are both deceased. His brother, William "T-Bill" Daggett passed in 2009. He is survived by his dog Slim, his Harley, and many friends in Arkansas, Oklahoma and elsewhere. Ed received a BA in English/Creative Writing at the University of Illinois at Urbana in 1969. He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville from Fall 1972-Spring 1978 in the MFA and English programs. Ed ran a successful Landscape Contracting business for many years before turning more attention to his true passions—painting with pastels and writing. His last residence was in Vinita, Okla.
