David Lee Barnett

David Lee Barnett, 59, of Avon, N.C. and a Class 1974 graduate of Bentonville High School in Bentonville, Ark., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 in Avon, N.C. He was born on June 24, 1956 in Gaberville, Calif. to his parents, Roy Lee Barnett and Grace Ellen (Haselip) Barnett. David worked in the construction trades and did home renovations and remodeling. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee Barnett and Ruth Martin Barnett (stepmother) of Centerton, Ark. and Grace Ellen (Haselip) Hoyt of Morton, Wash. He is survived by his two brothers, Don Barnett of Decatur, Ark., Roy Darwin Barnett of Centerton, Ark.; three sisters: Debbie Barnett of Morton, Wash., Brenda Arredondo of Silver City, N.M., Doris Barnett Perry of Centerton, Ark.; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two adopted children, Steve Barnett and Donna Barnett of Fayetteville, Ark. A memorial service will be held in Centerton in the City Hall Community Room on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at 7 p.m. with Pastor George McBryde officiating.
