She was a store manager for the Mini-Mart stores for many years before she started taking care of the many grand and great-grandchildren. The family of Geneva Cook wants to say a special "Thank You" to Alice Walker who took care of Mom during the day for the past six weeks. We could not have made it through this trying time without this person who adored our Mother and took excellent care of her. We love you Alice Walker. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Reverend Lester Shadrick officiating. Interment will follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. There is no scheduled visitation. Condolences at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
