Francis "Frank" Oswald Montour, age 83, of Bella Vista, died May 25, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born in Green Bay, Wis., on April 22, 1932, to the late Joseph and Hazel (Mieke) Montour. Frank served his country in US Army in Korea and Vietnam, and retired after 21 years of Active Duty. He was a very talented woodworker and engraver and he and wife, Beverly, owned Far North Trophy & Sign Cache and Bamfom Creations in Fairbanks, Alaska. Locally, his and Beverly's works of art and their business "Creations in Wood and Mirror," have been featured in various magazines and newspapers. Frank was a kind, loving, devoted and honorable man who was much loved and will be missed by many. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Beverly (Geise) Montour; daughter, Pamela Philpott of Bella Vista; grandchildren, Brandon Philpott and Amy Glass; great grandchildren, Jaxton and Brooklynn. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Charles McBride and Harriet McBride. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015, at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Rogers Boys and Girls Club, 409 S 8th St., Rogers, 72756. Cremation arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
