Charles "Pa" Anderson Wallace, 95, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, completed his path of life on May 24, 2015 at Legacy Hospice in Bentonville. He was born September 9, 1919 in Bath Springs, Tennessee and was the son of the late James Humphrey Wallace and Ruby Bogan Wallace. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Moss Wallace. Brothers: Earl Wallace, Henry Wallace, Glenn Wallace, Fred Wallace and sister Ruth Little of Augusta, Ark. A Veteran of World War II, Charles received 4 Bronze Stars and a Silver Star for his meritorious services as he landed D6 on the Beaches of Normandy and Battle of the Bulge. Charles began his civilian career with the United States Railroad before a 35 year career at Kroger in North Little Rock where he retired in management. Charles was a member of New Life Fellowship Church in Pea Ridge. He leaves his family and friends proud and amazed. Charles is survived by son Tony Wallace and wife Patty of Little Rock, Ark.; daughter Debbie Van Dyke and husband Mike of Pea Ridge, Ark.; grandson Jason Van Dyke and wife Nikki of Pea Ridge; great-grandsons and his pride and joy Cohen Van Dyke, Sheppard Van Dyke and Beckett Van Dyke of Pea Ridge; sister Patsy Lampkin of Augusta, Ark.; and brother Carroll Wallace of Pahrump, Nev. Services will be 3 p.m. May 27, 2015 at New Life Fellowship in Pea Ridge, with Pastor Gary Ryals officiating. Interment will be at Rest Hill Memorial Park on May 28 in North Little Rock, Ark. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the building fund of New Life Fellowship Church P.O. Box 202 Pea Ridge, Arkansas 72751.
