James William Plummer Jr.

James William Plummer Jr. passed away at his home in Sulphur Springs, Ark. on May 5th, 2015. He was the father of Shane Plummer (Boise, Ark.), Sara Plummer Clifton (Salt Lake City, Utah), Neal Plummer (Russellville, Ark.) and Garrett Plummer (Salt Lake City, Utah) - who gave him seven beautiful grandchildren. Jimmy was the son of Jenious Alexander and the late James William Plummer Sr. He was also the brother of Michelle Stepps, Mark Plummer, Charles Plummer, Frank Plummer, John Plummer and Richard Plummer. Born October 5th, 1952, in Bentonville, Ark. Jimmy was brought home to Sulphur Springs, where four generations of his family have lived. After spending his adventurous younger years in California, Oregon and Texas, he returned to the same small town to raise his own children. A craftsman by trade though an artist at heart, Jimmy always saw beauty in the world around him. He was a constant creator - whether it be metal sculptures, stained glass pieces, ingenious contraptions, an impressive collection of heart-shaped rocks, or tall tales from his day at work. All who loved him will carry his warmth and kindness for generations to come. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
