Elizabeth Ann Ransom

Elizabeth Ann Ransom, 77, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday at NEA Baptist Hospital after a short illness. She was born April 15, 1938 to Tom and Nellie Jean Lee Smith in Little Rock. Mrs. Ransom enjoyed gardening; she loved her flowers. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and lived in the Jonesboro area for over 48 years. Preceding her in death were her parents and an infant sister, Patsy Ruth Smith. Survivors include her husband, Guy Ransom, Jr. of the home; sons, Larry Guy Ransom and Christopher Wayne (Gina) Ransom of Collierville, Tenn.; daughter, Karen Michelle (Kevin) Duclos of Trinity, Ala.; grandchildren: Christopher Evan Ransom, Cayson Guy Ransom, Taylor Duclos (Jacob) McCullough, Nicholas Andrew Duclos, and Zachary Keegan Duclos; great-granddaughter, Harper Alexis McCullough; brothers, Johnny Ray Smith of North Little Rock and Ricky Lee of Ward, Ark.; sisters, Betty Bradshaw of Oktaha, Okla., Alice Green of Little Rock, and Peggy Snipes of Ward, Ark.; her "Children" or Fur Babies: Tigger, Chloe, and Bella; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones. The graveside service is Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway, Ark. Pallbearers are her grandsons.
