Betty Jean Phillips

Betty Jean Phillips, 85, of Seligman, died Monday, March 23, at her home. She was born June 22, 1929, at Garfield, to Lloyd Wesley Stover and Iva Graham Stover. She enjoyed going to the Seligman Senior Center where she was the activities director, playing cards, quilting, crocheting, going to Branson and traveling. She volunteered at NEBCO, was a member of the Red Hat Society, and Home Extension Club. She was a member of Boundless Grace Baptist Church in Little Flock and a devout Christian. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Becky Jo Warner, her second husband, John Charles Phillips, two brothers, Lloyd Stover and Jimmy Stover; two sisters, Peggy Hall and Wanda Cotton; and two grandchildren. Survivors are three sons, Johnny Cotton (Betty) of Garfield, Douglas Cotton (Steve) of Bella Vista, and Roy Cotton (Jamie) of Pea Ridge; four daughters, Mary Skelton (Harold), Connie Hendrix (Danny Joe) , Peggy Parker (Lenard) all of Seligman,and Tammy Cotton of Renton, Washington; her first husband Walter Cotton of Seligman; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service is set for 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, at Boundless Grace Baptist Church in Little Flock. Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
